In our weekly Trends that Matter series, we provide engaging infographics from healthcare influencers to highlight general trends affecting the pharmaceutical industry. This week's featured topic is pharma data. Electronic Health Records (EHRs) help clinicians manage healthcare data.  In fact, 83% of physicians use EHRS, according to Medical Marketing and Media.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services describes the multitude of benefits EHRs provide:

"An Electronic Health Record (EHR) is an electronic version of a patients medical history, that is maintained by the provider over time, and may include all of the key administrative clinical data relevant to that persons care under a particular provider, including demographics, progress notes, problems, medications, vital signs, past medical history, immunizations, laboratory data and radiology reports."

In the graphic below, Medical Marketing and Media outlines current industry trends for health data management.
