With technology taking over the healthcare industry and nearly all data available digitally, healthcare organizations deal with new challenges. Half of organizations believe they can't even detect patient data breaches and over 90% of companies have suffered a breach, according to Onvia.

When we look at the state of healthcare information technology systems, there's opportunity to improve the networks in which data is transferred. For instance, 81% of companies permit personal devices to connect to their netwroks but only 21% scan these devices prior to connection, via WeLiveSecurity.
